A firm rooted in values.
COAH Financial was born of a desire to do better for clients,
After years inside large firms, we saw the same pattern repeat: cookie cutter strategies delivered without sufficient regard for deeper questions that actually shape a family’s future. Why does this wealth exist? How should it be directed across generations? What does faithful stewardship look like inside a differentiated wealth management business model?
The conventional model treated clients as commodities. We could not.
What propelled us was the conviction that a clientele of high-net-worth families, business owners, and executives deserve counsel grounded in unchanging values rather than product cycles, quarterly pressures. Money is a tool. People remain the point. Generosity, ownership mentality, and multi-generational clarity are not soft add-ons; they are the work.
So we built something different: A boutique fiduciary practice focused exclusively on the complex needs of those with significant wealth and important task of preserving and directing it wisely. Investment management and financial planning sit alongside wealth preservation, trust and legacy considerations, and business exit strategy—not as separate silos, but as integrated service to a single purpose: helping families steward what they have been given with intention and integrity.
We do not chase every prospect. We maintain a deliberate waitlist because the work requires depth, not volume. Our clients are decision-makers who understand that true wealth is measured by more than the balance sheet. They want advisors who ask better questions and who refuse to separate technical excellence from values applied.
- Money is a tool. It should be used to improve lives and make the world a better place. It is a tool to be used, not an end to be achieved.
- Generosity and stewardship are the two keys to a truly wealthy life. The measure by which both keys are understood and put to use is the measure by which wealth grows in abundance. This is far more than a financial status.
- Investment should be made with an ownership mentality. This is exemplified primarily with a long-term mindset seeking to deploy funds into the types of companies doing work that is worthy of support.
- People and their goals are at the center of our work. All planning, investing and services are designed to bring individuals and families closer to the goals that matter most to them.
- In seeking to embody our values, COAH FINANCIAL is committed to contributing 20% of our profits to support a variety of causes that we find compelling and meaningful.
The name COAH FINANCIAL comes from the phrase a “City On A Hill”. Sitting at more than 6,000 feet above sea level in Colorado Springs, we are certainly a city on a hill. However, the name COAH also alludes to the gospel of Matthew wherein Jesus encourages his followers to be a “city on a hill” known for their values and consistency.
